Activities and Honors

Throughout her career, Christine E. Little has participated in multiple activities and has received multiple honors for her work. 

During high school, Christine was a member of the newspaper, The Tomahawk, for three years. Her duties included writing, photography and layout throughout her time there. She was secretary for two years, as well as Assistant-to-the-Editor her Junior year. Senior year, she took on the position of Content Editor in Chief. Senior year, she also contributed to, and was the editor of, the literary magazine Passages

Currently at Quinnipiac, Christine has been involved with many different organizations. Her freshman year she contributed to The Chronicle newspaper as a writer. During both her freshman and sophomore years she has been a contributing writer to the literary magazine Montage. She was a member of anime club for her freshman year, taking over as secretary during her sophomore year while helping to plan the first year of the Quinni-Con convention attended by over 500 people. Throughout college, she has also been a volunteer tour guide for Quinnipiac University, as well as a team captain for the Big Event community service project.

Honors earned by Christine include the National Honor Society, in which she was inducted as a member Sophomore year of high school. Senior year she was the head of the November food drive committee, which raised food for local families. Christine receives the Dean's Scholarship each semester at Quinnipiac, and has made the Dean's List consistently since Fall 2010. As of October 28, 2012, she is a member Lambda Pi Eta, the Communications Honor Society. In Summer 2012, she also became a member of the National Chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, which only accepts students in the top 10% of their class. Christine has been named a Gilman Scholar for the Spring 2013 semester, and received a Gilman Scholarship for her semester abroad. 

As of December 3, 2012 Christine is HootSuite Certified.
